Fantastic venue and food, staff amazing as well - could recommend highly enough
Had excellent meal and the staff were very friendly and helpful nothing too much trouble would recommend a visit will definitely go there again
I attended for a wedding, the room bookings were done in batch so I'm not aware how competitive the prices were. The staff were attentive, polite and professional although there wasn't a receptionist or greeter in sight on our arrival so we had to corner one of the harried waiting staff from the restaurant.Our room was decorated to a high standard albeit small, the furnishings, the cleanliness were all superb. Would recommend if you're in the area.
The food was way below par and the puddings were tiny. We left hungry! Will not be returning. The staff were lovely, friendly and very welcoming. However, we visited to eat and were very disappointed. A new chef needed for such a charming place.
Very friendly staff and food arrived quickly. Probably the best roast beef I've ever had. Scotch egg for starter was also very good and chocolate ice cream was brilliant. Lovely gardens too. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone within 200 miles of the place. Pleasantly surprised by the price although I always expect an extortionate rate. Thank you for a great meal and cannot wait to come back.
