What a lovely Christmas day lunch - super time - could not ask for a more welcoming pub - will use a lot more now !
The Buck's Head is a traditional English pub. There's a good variety of beers at reasonable prices along with a menu offering a wide choice of excellent dishes well cooked. The pub offers a wonderful carvery Sunday lunchtime, a traditional Indian curry night,once a week and on Tuesday evenings sausages and cbips as well as the full menu. Live acoustic music on two or three nights a month, friendly atmosphere, helpful staff, what else could you possibly want from an old fashioned traditional English pub?

Really lovely old world pub in the wymondly area of Hitchin. They have a new chef who does the most amazing curries.
Fantastic place food is great and staff really friendly. The Sunday roasts are brilliant and good value for money. Can't praise it enough. .
