I have used A Man and a Van on several occasions and the service has always been fantastic. Yesterday Barry helped me out at an hours notice after I'd booked the wrong date - amazingly responsive and helpful. The guys are always polite and extremely efficient, and I can highly recommend them.

I need to say my move happened with the team only arriving 15min late, also only a couple of small scratches and bumps to some furniture pieces occurred. Yet, I was treated rather impolite and twice even snapped at; once when I asked for a discount from the quote as the move only took 1.5h instead of the 3h envisioned. Upon complaining, I was promised a discount which I never received. For a company that takes customer service very seriously (I quote), this is poor. But I assume when it comes to a situation like that the distinction between truly customer friendly service and only the pretence of it comes to light.
