It is a really great school also I'm from Lonsdale the school next door to mariotts and I do GCSE math and the teachers are really good at teaching.

As a current year 7 student I have found the start of the year very tough. It was great to see just how helpful all the staff were during this difficult time for me and other year 7 students: I would definitely recommend it

As a student for 7 years and now starting university, it has gone under major changes. From cramped areas and lack of care from previous teachers to now, wide spaces and large majority of teachers being excellent in the way they work. Without them, I surely wouldn't be going to university right now nor even be here in person. It has made me proud to say I was part of the school. It's also a place where you can make friends for life, have plenty ups but some downs and last but no means least, find who you are - bare that in mind.

Could possibly be better. I'm not saying it's bad I just disagree with most rules and how situations are being delt with and I was not able to eat as there are disgraceful seating plans for lunch & break (which also means no one can be with their friends) we have to sit to eat and if there's no seats how can we eat?! Yes, there was a lot of year 8s that joined but now there's like 10x as many year 7s which makes it harder to even move! There is also bullying. Now the school isn't bad at dealing with it but I don't think it's being taken to mind that bullying gets worse everyday! Teachers. Well how can I put this? Lots of teacher have either gone or been fired. Also they are getting more strict and any small noise or movement makes them go crazy. Not a terrible school but needs to improve .

I am currently a student at this school and i am not pleased with the amount of effort they put in to deal with situations of bullying and racism. Currently they have made a new rule that each year group has a certain area to sit during our free time in my opinion i feel this will not raise our ability to socialize with other people and it is not practical having to do with the amount of space we are given. They also do not allow us to hang around the main playground were most year groups are and i feel they should get rid of this rule as ALL STUDENTS disagree with. I hope they actually do something for once for the students.
