Hospital staff are unbelievable very helpful as for parking costs.Well that's another story.soon won't be able to afford being I'll!!!!

The BBC say some 37 hospitals, charging disabled drivers for parking, may be unlawful!!!!!! Not happy. I really do feel this is an absolute disgrace. Also, in Lister Hospital multi-storey car park, drivers with electric powered vehicles, have priority parking ( on the ground floor), over disabled drivers, who have to go up several levels to find a space. Secondly, there is not much turning room around the tight bends, as proven by all the car paint marks on the walls. This is the only hospital I have been to, where disabled drivers, have to pay in full, to park their vehicles and according to a BBC website, 37 other hospitals do the same. FREE PARKING FOR DISABLED DRIVERS IN DESIGNATED AREAS, AT GROUND LEVEL REQUIRED, WITH NO CHARGES!!!!!!
You get to pay for visiting sick people - yay. Saving grace was the lad in the parking shop who helped when the parking token malfunctioned
Parking at lister is awful. Better take a cab or a bus. On a busy day u won't find a space and it adds undue stress for ur appointment time.
