Pleasant place, Superlative sausages on sale. Somewhat under-sized scones (order 2 in the cafe), and bring your own decaff ground coffee as they don't sell proper decaff, only instant decaff. otherwise lovely.
Visited last Sunday, service was slow and grumpy.Our request for a spare plate was met with disdain, and my request to fill up my water bottle, well it was as if I was asking the lady to milk the cloud herself..Food and coffee was nice, but expensive for the countryside in a hut.
We went apple picking and potato digging and had a fantastic morning with the kids (aged 4 and 6). Thanks to Intern Sam for teaching us the difference between the types of apples and potatoes. Top guide! Also, really impressed with the organic and 'clean' food approaches of this farm and the community vision. We will definitely be returning and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
What a nice place for a family day out! A well designed farm which allow us especially with children to learn everything and meet all the animals in a farm. We visited the cafe too and had the full English breakfast there. The food is supreme! Highly recommend it.
